Remember Underground Racing's insane 1000+ horsepower, twin turbo Audi R8 V10 that we posted back in September? Well, if you've been wanting one (and have a spare $250k laying around), here's your chance. Found on eBay, the seller notes that this 2010 Audi R8 5.2 FSI sports UR's stage 3 twin-turbo kit, boosting horsepower north of 1000 whp on 93 octane pump gas and nearly 1,300 whp on race fuel! Seeing as the listing notes this is "the only Audi that Underground Racing has built so far, 1 of 1," we imagine it's the same car from UR's promotional video (which we're more than happy to repost after the jump).

Lord Vader, your Audi R8 is for sale on eBay

Our friend Ray has recently listed his "Darth Vader'd out" 2009 Audi R8 on eBay and we figured some of our readers may be interested in the car. If you recall, last year we posted a video we titled "75 year old woman loves her Audi R8." Unbeknownst to us at the time, the woman is Ray's mom and the car she was driving was actually his. This blacked out 2009 Audi R8 4.2 FSI 6MT, is that car.

Optional equipment from the factory includes an 'enhanced leather' carbon interior, carbon side blades, premium package and Bang & Olufsen sound system. Then, to complete Ray's "Vader" theme, everything was blacked out (including the wheels, windows, taillights, headllights, turn signals, badges and "anything else that was chrome/silver"). Topping off the project is an ultra-rare (and very expensive) Kreissieg electronic variable tune exhaust system and K40 Calibre integrated radar the help keep the Jedi off your tail. The video below should convey the awesomeness of the Kreissieg exhaust in action.



As reported on eBay, this R8 has just 9,700 miles and comes with the original factory warranty valid until Feb. 2013 (or 50k miles) and Audicare til Dec. 2014. For those seriously interested in purchasing this car, please email us here and we'll pass on any questions you may have to the owner.

Very nice Audi Sport quattro clone found on eBay

With just 224 examples built to meet homologation requirements, you're likely to find the Audi Sport quattro at the top of any quattroholic's wish list. Unfortunately, finding one - and accumulating the wealth to afford it - usually keeps this elusive four-ringed unicorn well beyond the boundaries of reality for most. The good news however, is companies have offered conversion kits to shorten the wheel base of a standard Ur-quattro to become the next best thing. Found for sale on eBay UK is just such a car.

Although the seller's description is quite brief, we know that this car was the second of only 22 Sport quattro conversions built by Dialinx in the UK and has been "magazine featured." The condition appears to be pristine for any Ur-quattro; as the seller claims, the car has been "polished and hoovered 3 times a week" and always wears a cover. Under the hood, the 2.2-liter 5-cylinder is said to boast 300-hp. The only obvious feature distinguishing this car from a real Sport quattro is the slope of the windshield. All in all though, we'd say the £21,000.00 asking price seems quite fair, especially considering the genuine article could cost at least 5 times as much.

One of a kind, Viper Green Audi RS4 comes up for sale

According to Robert De Niro's character in Meet the Parents, "they say geniuses pick green." If that adage holds true, we imagine only a mad genius would choose a Viper Green Audi RS4 (a shade from Porsche's palette). A mad genius, in the absolute best sense of the words. Of course, we're no strangers to green Audis. Most recently we featured Jack Baruth's one-off Porsche green S5. Hell, we even devoted an entire post to the envious hue last St. Patrick's day. But we have never, ever, witnessed a green Audi quite as cool as this one. And for good reason I guess, since this is the only Viper Green B7 Audi RS4 in existence. Now, due to the owner's impending relocation to Germany, this rarity can be yours.

After reading the original listing on Teamspeed, we immediately contacted the RS4's owner, Derik, for more background on the car. Luckily for us, Derik is our kind of guy; a long time Audi owner, with great taste in four-ringed rides. In his own words, here's how Derik came to own this RS4.

"After being a long time Audi fan and owner of various coupes and 5000 quattro models, we decided to go to Chicago on our search for an RS4. Upon our arrival to The Audi Exchange, we found a multitude of color choices at the time. Red, white, black, orange, and Viper Green. The said model was sitting on the showroom floor. We were told by the salesman that the car was owned by the owner of the dealership (who also owns The Porsche Exchange). It seems he has ordered the car from the factory in Viper Green (exclusive) because he was also ordering a Viper Green GT3RS Porsche for his daughter. The car had 50 miles on it, so it had had hardly been driven. The reason for him selling the car is that he was frustrated that Audi would not honor his request of installing green piping on the seats. We were quick to purchase the car since it was quite unique."

Quite unique indeed. We can't believe that Audi would deny matching the seat's piping in green. In fact, green piping would have been an extra special touch. However, had it not been for this frustration, Derik would have never found his dream car. And now, Derik's move to Germany will hopefully open a door to someone else's dream. Located for sale in Illinois, the rest of the car's details can be found in the original listing as follows:

"International relocation to Germany forces sale. Only B7 RS4 Viper Green (Porsche GT3RS) exclusive factory paint in the world. Very low 8800 miles. All original except, window tint, and clear bra. No accidents or stories. Still smells new. All documentation, books, keys, touch up paint, including build sheet (see pic). Never seen ANY foul weather. Warranty until 3/31/2012 or 50k miles. Has CPO until 3/31/2014 or 100k but have been told will not transfer to new owner. Please feel free to call, e-mail, or send PM for additional questions. Thanks for looking. $54,900."

Rare US-legal B5 Audi RS4 Avant listed for sale in Colorado

The B5 Audi RS4 Avant, a car we've lusted for since its debut nearly 11 years ago. Like many of Audi's RS-badged behemoths, the B5 RS4 was never offered for sale in America. There were however, a few US enthusiasts who tackled the grey market importing laws to liberate a handful from Europe. This 2000 Nogaro Blue RS4 is one such example. Listed for sale at the online Volkswagen mecca, VWVortex, a forum member relays details from the owner describing the car of many a quattroholic's dreams. That is of course, if you have a spare $49,000 laying around.

According to the listing, only four B5 RS4s reside (legally imported) in the United States. Amazingly, this seller imported three of them. The listing expands:

"I'm posting this for a very good client of mine. He had 3 of these brought into the United States in 2001 and they are all legit for the USA. It was hemogenized [sic] and has a full 17 digit VIN Number. I've personally sat in this car and driven it and it is unbelievable. He bought 3, sold off one back in 2001 and currently has two of them (his and hers). This vehicle has not been beaten on any whatsoever (couple are in their early 70's) just true Audi enthusiasts. Vehicle holds a clean Colorado title and is located in Aspen, CO. Seriously enquires [sic] only please."

With just 35,000 miles on the clock, this RS4 is easily one of the cleanest examples we've ever seen (regardless of what country its in). In addition to gaining an official American VIN, the owner had the ECU remapped to run properly on 91 octane gasoline and carries a clean Colorado title.

So for those of you lusting after a true, US-legal B5 RS4, this may be opportunity knocking. Sure, $49k is not pocket change (you can pick up a nice B7 RS4 for that kind of cash). But if you consider the car's reported history and condition - along with the headaches and cost of finding and importing one yourself - the price may become a tad more palpable.

Ur-Nightmare: Audi quattro convertible

We've witnessed our share of horrendous body kits, tuners gone wild and even all four installments of The Fast and the Furious. This however, might reign supreme in a special four-ringed section of tuner hell. Fellow Quattroholics, brace yourselves. What you're about to see cannot be unseen. Behold, the elusive, Audi Ur-quattro convertible.

First off, no, this is not a production car. According to the vehicle's listing, this 1985 Audi quattro was customized by a now defunct (wonder why?), 1980's era tuning firm named Treser. Complete with wide body kit, finned rocker panels, deep dish BBS wheels and a folding hard top, this Audi Ur-quattro convertible embodies all that was wrong with 1980's tuning. On a positive note though, it does have 340 horsepower.

But of course, viewing this car as a sacrilege of the mighty Ur-quattro is just our opinion. After all, it was the 80's, I thought neon colored clothing and Flock of Seagulls was cool back then. If you're interested, the car is for sale in Germany for 56,700 Euros (roughly $75,000).

Jack Baruth's Lime Green Audi S5 for sale on eBay

Those of you who regularly read quattroholic.com may recognize this car from our "St. Patrick's Day Green Audi Collective" feature. Currently listed on eBay is none other than automotive journalist/racing driver, Jack Baruth's one of a kind Audi S5, painted a very exclusive shade of Lime Green straight from Porsche's 1973/74 color palette.

Considering there's only one person able to convey what it's like to own a Porsche Lime Green Audi S5, I'll point you to Jack's article at Speed:Sport:Life, written just after taking delivery in October of 2008. But before you make that jump, I'd be remiss not to relay Jack's sales pitch from Twitter: "My Lime Green Audi S5 is for sale. This car will get you laid. No lie. You will have sex. I sure as hell did. A lot."

Hurley Haywood's Audi 200 Quattro Trans Am winning race car can be yours

And now an addition for every quattroholic's wish list. An original Audi 200 quattro Trans Am race car has been listed for sale by The Auto Collections of Las Vegas. To add some extra provenance to this particular car, this is the 1988 Trans Am championship-winning car driven by the great Hurley Haywood. Hurley racked up an amazing 8 wins and the manufacturer's title for Audi in this 510 horsepower beast.





From the seller's listing:

"1989 AUDI 200 QUATTRO TRANS AM RACE CAR ID# 44JA000013 - THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM AUDI SPORT IN INGOLSTADT, GERMANY. THE CAR WAS BUILT FOR THE SPORTS CAR CLUB OF AMERICA (SCCA) TRANS AM CHAMPIONSHIP. THIS IS THE VEHICLE THAT WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP, DRIVEN BY HURLEY HAYWOOD."

Price is not listed, so we're guessing this falls in the "if you have to ask you can't afford it" category.
