Video: EVO Magazine drives Le Mans-winning Audi R18 TDI

. Tuesday, November 8, 2011

As EVO Magazine's Dickie Meaden casually explains, "it all started with a text, a late night text from Harry Metcalfe, which just said: How do you fancy driving the Le Mans-winning Audi?" Next thing he knew, Meaden was receiving pointers from Allan McNish leading up to a once-in-a-lifetime, 5-lap stint in an Audi R18 TDI. And not just any R18 mind you, it was none other than "Red Sonja," the car that won this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans. We've always thought of Chris Harris as our favorite EVO editor, but we have to say, Dickie just scored a ton of awesome points in our book for this one.
