Audi coverage of Dubs on the Delaware 2011

. Thursday, August 25, 2011

Last Sunday marked Dubs on the Delaware "Kapitel Drei" (chapter three). Set on the banks of the Delaware river at the historic Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in Pennsylvania, this show boasts possibly the most scenic venue of any VW/Audi event we've been to. As the name suggests, Dubs on the Delaware (or DOTD for short) is first and foremost a Volkswagen show. However, there was still a great Audi presence, which we of course covered for your viewing pleasure.

Considering the close proximity of DOTD to New York and New Jersey, many of the show cars will look familiar from Waterfest 17. Although, for those looking for a smaller, more family-friendly venue, DOTD offers a completely different vibe for both show cars and spectators. Albeit in short supply, all of the Audis in attendance were show-worthy rides. Though some of our favorites were an ultra-clean RS6, MTM-tuned S4 cab, a pair of very nice S2s and one dead-sexy dark blue B5 S4.

I should point out that we've grown especially partial to this particular event since its venue is barely 10 miles from quattroholic.com's HQ. That said, we now like to think of it as our unofficial "home show." As such, we were proud to be a sponsor and set up a small booth to talk Audi and show off our recent 2011 A4 press car. We hope to offer even more next year and especially would like to see more four-ringed emblems in attendance. If you're in the area, be sure to mark your calendars, we'd love to see you at "Kapitel Vier"! Check out the full photo gallery here.
