Red Bull gives Audi wings for seventh DTM season

For the seventh consecutive season, Audi's partnership with Red Bull marks one of the longest sponsorships in DTM history. Though the cars may have changed, one thing that has remained constant since Audi's return to DTM 'factory' commitment in 2004, has been the Red Bull race livery.

Two-time DTM champion, Mattias Ekström comments, "I can’t even imagine my Audi without the bull of Red Bull anymore." Ekström has been racing under the Red Bull flag since 2002 and along with teammate Martin Tomczyk, is personally supported by the Austrian energy drink. Unlike earlier seasons, the two Red Bull Audis are now easily identifiable with Ekström driving the 'original' blue livery and Tomczyk sporting a silver Red Bull Cola scheme.

Including Red Bull, Audi will contest a total of nine differently sponsored cars in the 2010 DTM season. Notably, reigning DTM champion, Timo Scheider will be driving an Audi A4 DTM advertising Audi Top Service and Audi Gebrauchtwagen :plus. "I can superbly identify with these two partners - and they perfectly fit Audi’s DTM commitment,” says Timo Scheider. "Without the top-notch service by the Audi mechanics I wouldn’t be able to win a race. And in a manner of speaking we’ve all got used cars in the 2010 DTM due to the technology freeze ..."
