Audi TT RS Roadster by O.CT Tuning

. Monday, February 28, 2011

Until today, we've never heard of Austrian tuning firm, O.CT Oberscheider Tuning GmbH (or O.CT Tuning for short). But after getting acquainted with O.CT's new Audi TT RS Roadster project, we look forward to seeing more from them in the future. Named the "Black and White Knight," upgrades to the O.CT TT RS include custom 20" wheels, a KW-lowered suspension and 80 extra horsepower under the hood.

In order to squeeze an additional eighty horses from the TT RS' 2.5-liter TFSI, O.CT added a performance cold air intake, stainless steel exhaust system (including silencer and rear silencer with control valve) and remapped the 5 cylinder's ECU. The end result is an even 420 horsepower and 420 lb/ft of torque.

Outside, the Ibis white paint with black top and trim executes the overall "black and white" theme. Further accentuating this are custom 20" black-lipped, twin five spoke wheels (which were specially designed and developed for O.CT) mated to a lowered KW V3 coil-over suspension system. Press Release:

BLACK-AND-WHITE KNIGHT – Audi TT RS by O. CT

Among the virtues of the knights was always to be nice and helpful and also to be the best in all that they did. It seems that this principle is followed by the O.CT Company as it made an Audi TT RS to pick up this shield and to move virtues of the former knights in today. What does O.CT stands for? This means the Oberscheider Tuning GmbH Lustenau in Austria, which also has an office in Widnau (Switzerland).

The standard Audi TT RS Roadster has already 340 wild horses under the hood. And 450 Nm of torque not only speak for themselves emotionally. This was the starting point of the O.CT crew. The great performance increase was achieved through so called Tuning-Kits, by changing hardware components in conjunction with the reprogramming of vehicle electronics. The conversion kit used here has tripled the power; it includes a stainless steel exhaust system including silencer and rear silencer with control valve, a charge air cooler kit and finally a revised management of the TFSI engine. The Audi TT RS produces impressionating 420 HP and 570 Nm.

Thus, the unruly existing force can be converted into motion; the TT has forged 20-inch 5 twin-spoke alloy rims. This rim is specifically designed and developed for O.CT. It is produced in compliance of the highest quality standards. The appearance is very exciting, the details are stunning. The highest expectations are met! Special emphasis was placed on lightening of the rim, which gives each vehicle elegance and sportiness. At just 13.8 kg weight in the dimension of 9x20 ET35 and 5x112 bolt pattern the highest quality of workmanship is guaranteed. Besides, the space for the “growing” engine brake force is available. In addition, KW coilover suspension V3 provides agility in (almost!) any situation.

The tournament can be started with a flourish of trumpets…
