Today is Audi's 101st birthday. It was on July 16th, 1909 that August Horch brought the Audi brand to life in Zwickau, Germany. Using the Latin translation of Horch (meaning to "hear" or "listen" in German), Audi the brand was born. From the first Audi Type A to the R8 V10, Audi has set a precedent few automakers can follow.
