Video: Drag race between Audi R8 5.2 FSI and Lamborghini Gallardo

We've been wanting to see a drag race between the Audi R8 5.2 FSI and it's Italian sister, the Lamborghini Gallardo for some time. Of course, road tests and Top Gear Stig times are fun to watch and read, but really nothing compares to an old-school quarter-mile showdown.



We were pretty impressed by the fact that even though the Gallardo appeared to have jumped the green in the second race, the R8 still managed to clock an impressive 12.43 @ 117.47 mph vs. the Lambo's 12.77 @ 115.31 mph.
