Electric Powered Audi R8 ePerformance - Rumors Swirl

Okay, so this is a big rumor. As with most rumors, many never see the light of day. This however, is one we really hope makes it to drawing board. The Audi ePerformance R8 Concept.

Reportedly, in an effort to compete with the likes of Tesla and Fisker, Audi is secretly working on an electric powered R8. Dubbed the ePerformance R8 Concept, we may be pleasantly surprised to see this car on the show floor next month in Frankfurt. (Audi R8 V10 pictured).
