Audi R8 GT Spyder debuts at Le Mans

In addition to one of the most thrilling victories in Audi racing history, the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans set the stage for the official world debut of the all-new Audi R8 GT Spyder. Presented alongside racing legends Jacky Ickx and Marco Werner, the new drop-top R8 GT was unveiled and displayed at the Audi Racing Arena, later taking part in the annual parade lap before the start of the race. While we loved the original press photos, we're sure most will agree that the R8 GT Spyder looks even better "in the metal;" showing off its new Sphere Blue matte paint-job under the warm, French sun.
